This track is programmatic media: code and APIs pointed at pictures and sound, with every technique proven on renders that actually shipped. No tool tours, no gallery of cherry-picked outputs. Each course walks a real production system, quotes its real configuration, and keeps the failures in, because the failure is usually where the technique lives.

The Remotion course builds an audio-reactive music visualiser: loading a track into a composition, reading the frequency array, splitting it into bands, and mapping bass to motion with the spring physics and interpolation curves the docs never explain. It covers the sync-drift classes that ruin renders, the radial forms nobody writes tutorials for, alpha-mask compositing, and the memory ceilings that decide how a long track gets rendered. Every chapter is grounded in the visualiser that renders this site's own releases.

The Seedance course is the other half of the pipeline: generative video through the BytePlus ModelArk API, taken seriously as engineering. It starts at the console and the first authenticated call, drives the async task API raw, and builds a CLI wrapper with typed reference roles and parallel submission. Then the method stack proven on a real multi-shot film: registered character assets that hold a likeness across dozens of renders, motion transfer that stays inside moderation, a scene plate that locks one environment across a whole sequence, directed prompts, and the edit grammar that turns independent generations into a film. The bill for the entire production arc is quoted, because cost discipline is part of the craft.

Both courses share one stance: the model is an instrument, the code around it is the instrument's case, and the person deciding what to render is still the author. Everything here runs on hardware and budgets an individual maker actually has. If you want to make things with these tools rather than read about them, start with either course.
