PR #153's ultracode review of five legal pages and /stamp-duty-calculator returned HTTP 200, index/follow, and canonical self on every one. The GSC telemetry digest still listed all six as URL unknown to Google. The problem was not technical. Footer links do not transfer crawl weight the way body prose does.
Ultracode found nothing wrong with six stuck pages. The blocker was the footer.

The fix wasn't a technical one: it was body-prose internal links from six already-indexed articles, giving Google a crawl path to pages it had no reason to visit.
The tag on 73 of 74 posts told me nothing about what relates to what.
Building a 'related posts' block surfaced a problem that had nothing to do with rendering: the tag on nearly every article carried no signal, and letting it count made everything related to everything.
