Good copy is a reader-side audit. My site failed it twice.

Two copy bugs in the same two-week window. The NAPA SEASON body prose gave Suno the authorship. The /contact/ timelines note read as a pre-rejection to anyone with urgent work. Both made complete sense when I wrote them. Neither survived a cold read.

Accurate to me, misleading to you: every copy fix this month was the same bug

Every copy change I made to captainrandom in July traced back to the same failure mode: wording that was accurate to my intent and misleading to the person reading it. Copy bugs don't throw exceptions

The NAPA SEASON album page attributed production and vocals to Suno. That gave authorship to a rendering engine. The /contact timelines note filtered out prospects before they had sent a message. Neither bug showed up in any log.

Five copy edits on captainrandom this quarter. None were about wording.

A blurb gave Suno the authorship of an album I wrote. A sub-brand name attributed the creative work to the AI. A contact note read as a rejection of prospects, not a quality signal. Five copy edits in two months, and every one corrected a fact about authorship or positioning — not a sentence.
